When they are ripe and very sweet, they can be eaten raw with yogurt or whipped cream or ice cream or with fresh cream, or sprinkled with icing sugar. Super easy and tasty strawberry marmalade
is ready for the breakfasts, Enjoy!

Ingredients:
  • 1 kg Small strawberries, washed and hulled,
  • 1 or 1,5 kg Granulated sugar,
  • 1 Teaspoon of vanilla, (nearly 10 gr),
  • 1 Teaspoon of lemon juice or 1/4 teaspoon of lemon salt, (we often use lemon salt, because it makes your marmalade shiny and by the help of lemon salt, you can save your strawverry marmalade for a long time in your pantry. But, it is up to you, if you want, you can use lemon juice instead of the lemon salt),

Preparation:

  1. First of all, put your all ingredients on the work-table. Secondly, wash the strawberries and removing their hulls and green tops.
  2. Then, layer strawberries and sugar in a saucepan overnight (your strawberries release their juice until morning, if not, add water when cooking).
  3. The following day (morning) take them into the blender and blend them until they become puree. Then start cooking on medium heat until the sugar dissolves (if mixture needs water, add a glass of water and stir). Cooking process takes nearly 15-17 minutes. If it foams while boiling, remove it with a spoon. Then add lemon juice and vanilla and stir the mixture for a little while (2-3 minutes) and then turn the heat off.
