Healthy Apple Dessert Recipe!

"An apple a day keeps the doctor away!"

Apple (like quince) is the another very oldest fruit. We love to consume this fruit as raw and we also love its compote and its dessert very much. Apples are mostly known as the North America's fruit by the people. But the origins of apples are not native to the North America. According to the historians; apples originated in Republic of Kazakhstan, in central Asia of the Caspian sea. The capital of Kazakhstan "Alma-Ata" means "full of apples". By 1500 BC apple seeds had been carried throughout the Europe. The Greeks, Etruscans (in Italy) and Romans cultivated apples in their countries. Apples have been linked to numerous health benefits. In Turkey; "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" proverb is so popular and is known by the everyone. Actually this proverb is used throughout the world alot.

An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away!

This well known statement (proverb) is based on an 1860's Welsh proverb that eating apples will dminish doctor visits. It is a common English-language proverb that appeared in the 19th century and it spread all around the world. This proverb also very commo throughout the Anatolia (Turkey). As we mentioned above of the post; Apples have been linked to numerous health benefits, including improved gut health and reduced risk of stroke, high blood pressure. Apples are an incredibly nutritious fruit offers multiple health benefits. They are rich in fiber and antioxidants. Eating them is linked to a lower risk of many chronic conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Apple may also promote weight loss and improve brain health. Some studies show that plant chemicals and fiber of an apple peel against blood vessels and heart damage. Apples' cancer fighting antioxidant activity is nearly tops among fruits. Briefly, eating an apple a day or more keeps the doctor really away!

As we mentioned in the earlier posts, fruit desserts are the most antique desserts. Most common fruit desserts are made with apples and pears. We shared our Quince Dessert's recipe in the previous post. In this post, we are going to share our Healthy Apple Dessert's recipe with you.

How to Make Healthy Apple Dessert!

We consume this delucious dessert alot during the year. Healthy Apple Dessert is a name that we have made up in last Valentine day. We prepared this very unique and tasty dessert for Valentine day. It cannot get easier and more practical. Its preparation takes time but we are sure that when you try it, you like this dessert. You can prepare as much as you want, 2 apples 4 apples or 12 apples. It just depends on how many you want to serve.

Preparation for this delicious dessert is just peeling and coring the apples. After the first one you get faster with the coring too. In this dessert, we used cherry juice for colouring the apples (but if you want, you can use pomegrante juice, hibiscus flower etc). And we used granulated sugar for this dessert. But, if you want you can use raisins or honey to avoid adding sugar. Cloves and cinnemon add a nice flavor to dessert. We added clotted cream but, I am pretty sure adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream or cream options will also be good if you prefer.

  42. That sounds so good, I would probably try it without the sugar or much less of it because I feel like apples are already super sweet and sugar tends to make my stomach upset tbh. I have never seen vanilla in powered form, only in liquid. :) For the topping I love walnut, but I would use a vegan wiped cream, bc I'm vegan tbh.
