When we were children, we loved our moms' homemade sweets, desserts and snacks very very much. At that times, our moms always said that "Don't wory my child! We sweeten your mouth at every moment of your life". We don't know, maybe their moms said same words to them. But, our mouths were always swetened our mouths at every moment of our life. We love our mom's handmade foods very much during the our childhood times. On the other hand, we are keen on our moms' "Tea Parties' foods (pastries, desserts and snacks etc)".
In Turkey women often join tea parties with friends, neighbours or relatives. Sothat, Turkish women often prepare/cook pastries, desserts and snacks for the tea parties. Generally, when our moms went to these parties, they took us to these tea parties to join to other children. We excited to join other children in tea party house and excited to have delicious foods and "Turkish Delight Between Biscuits Snack". Because Turkish tea (Çay / Chai) and Turkish delight between biscuits snack was our favourite snack.

We have loved Turkish tea and Turkish delight between biscuits snack since we were children and stil like it very much. We don't think so, making Turkish delight at homes. Because its preparation is so difficult. We call Turkish delight in Turkish: "Lokum". We generally buy lokum from candy shops or patisserries. You can find it very easily in Turkey. Turkish delight is prepared and cooked in the special candy Factories. Starch and sugar are mixed and cooked in a special boiler by the Lokum cooks. Then, mixture is poured into starch or coconut covered molds and allowed to cool. Turkish Delights (Lokum) which are cooled in molds, and then they are cut and packaged carefully. It does not contain glucose or additives. We are sure that when you try Turkish delight between biscuits, you like it.
