         How to Make Oven Baked Lamb Cutlets


         In this post, we are going to share our "Turkish Style Oven Baked Lamb Chops (Fırında Kuzu Pirzola) Recipe" from Anatolian's rich cuisine on the blog.

Marinated Lamp Chops process

         Ingredients:

         Serve: 2 or 3 servings, Preparation Time: 10 - 15 minutes (Marinade process), Cooking Time: 65 - 75 minutes, Type: Non-Vegan,  Cuisine: Anatolian Cuisine (Mediterranean Cuisine),

         - 8 - 10 Lamb chops,

         Marinade Process:

         - 2 Cloves Garlic, finely grated,
         - 2 Teaspoons Dried Thyme,  
         - 1 Normal size Onion, peeled and very finely sliced or finely grated,
         - 2 - 3 Tablespoons Olive oil,
         - 1 Tablespoon Tomato paste,
         - 1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper to taste,
         - 1 Teaspoon Red pepper flakes to taste,
         - A little salt, (1 pinch) to taste,

         Preparation:

         First of all, mix all the marinade ingredients (Garlic, dried thyme, onion, olive oil, tomato paste, ground black pepper and red pepper flakes) together in a bowl. Then, add the lamb chops to the bowl, cover and marinade in the refrigerator for 4 - 6 hours. Then, take your lamb chops out of the refrigerator and let them get up to room temperature. Then, place the lamb chops on a baking sheet lined with foil. If you have, pour rest of the marinade mixture on the lamb chops. Then, preheat the your oven to 200°C (392°F, gas-7 ) and bake your lamb chops for about 65 - 75 minutes or until browned at the edges of lamb chops. You should often check out your lamb chops during the baking process, so you prevent your lamb chops to burning. If it is needed an extra bake time for lamb chops, you should add an extra bake time for getting delicious and yummy lamb chops dish. After the baking process, you may serve your delicious lamb chops with Bulgur Pilaf with Green Lentils or White Rice (Turkish Pilaf).

         P.S: Sometimes, we face tough meat and we cant cook it properly. Actually, tenderizing meat is not as difficult as you might think! Forexample; in this process of lamb chops dish, you face tough lamb chops. Dont wory about it! First of all boil some water in Kettle. Then, add your tough lamb chops and close the lid and cook it for at least 20 - 25 minutes. Then, marinade the your lamb chops and bake 40 minutes. After this process, your lamb chops will be quite tender.)
