     HOW TO MAKE SUPER EASY SPINACH CAKE:


        Do you know "Green Cake?" (NO), Have you ever get a "Green Cake Recipe and Try It? " (You said again: NO)

        Maybe you knew it and tried it before or not. In this post, we try to share our "Super Easy Spinach Cake Recipe" or "Green Cake", because we called it as a green cake. It is our children's most popular desert. We, Turkish People, love spinach foods such as; "spinach-with-rice", "spinach-arm-byrek" very much. This Spinach Cake is that kind of recipe that we are sure you will try it more times and you like it very much.

        We are also sure that if Popeye tried our Green Cake (Spinach Cake), he enjoyed it very much and he proud of us.

        Actually, Spinach Cake is VERY VERY EASY to do as you just have to put together all ingredients in a large deep bowl, and mix until combined and bake into oven. Also, Spinach Cake (or Green Cake) is tasty and can be eaten at room temperature. So it can be prepared in advance and you can freeze it (We tried: there is no problem).

        Here it is our recipe:


      Spinach Cake: Preparation Time: 10-15 minutes, Cook Time:50-60 minutes, Recipe Type: Desert, % 100 Vegan,

        Ingredients:

        For the Cake:

        -3 Eggs,
        - 3/4 Cup Sugar (Granulated Sugar),
        - 1Cup Milk,
        - 3/4 Cup Vegetable Oil, 
       - 1Cup Spinach Puree (Boiled Spinach drained and blended - we can get 1 Cup Spinach Puree from 1,5-2 Cups Fresh Spinach not frozen Spinach)
        - 25 gr Baking Powder,
        - Vanilla Extract,
        - 2,5 Cups Flour,

        For the frosting:

       - 2 Cups Cold Heavy Cream,
       - 4 Tablespoons Powder Sugar,

        Preparation:


       First of all, cream together eggs and sugar until they turn to white and frothy. Then, add the milk, vanilla extract and vegetable oil and whisk. Then, add the spinach puree and whisk. After these processes, add the flour and baking powder, then stir until you get a smooth batter. Then, pour into a greased cake-pan (30 cm cake-pan). Bake at 180°C (350°F) oven until a toothpick inserted in the center of cake and comes out clean. Then, remove from oven and let it cool completely before inverting on a platter. Then, whip the cold heavy cream and sugar using a mixer machine until you get stiff peaks. Then, flatten the top of the cake by using an knife (This separated part will also be used to cover the top of the cake,  so if you think you need more, also trim half a centimeter from the sides). Then, cut the cake in half, so you can get two half pieces, and spread some of the whipped cream mixture on top of the first layer, then place the second layer on top. Then, spread the rest of the whipped cream mixture on top and on the side of the cake. Now, crumbled the trimmed cake pieces and cover the top of the cake with them.
