         Recipe of Chicken Schnitzel


          Today we are going to give 2 methots of preparation of Chicken Schnitzel (chicken schnitzel recipe). One is fried Chicken Schnitzel and other one is oven baked Chicken Schnitzel. Both of methots are so quick and very easy.

         Serve: 4 - 6 servings, Preparation Time: 20-25 minutes, Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes - for baking process: 5 - 7 minutes, Food Cuisine: Austrian Cuisine, 

         Very good family favourite;

         Ingredients:

        - 1 Boneless, skinless Whole chicken breasts (2 large breasts), (halved lenghtwise), 
        - 1 or 2 Eggs, beaten with salt and ground black pepper, 
       - 1 Cup of bread crumbs, (or matzo meal),
        - 1/2 Cup of all purpose white flour, 
        - 1/2 Teaspoon of salt to taste, 
        - 1/2 Teaspoon of Ground black pepper to taste, 
        - Oil for frying, (in this recipe, we used vegetable oil, but if you want, you can use olive oil instead of vegetable oil),

         Preparation of Fried Chiclen Schnitzel:

  1. First of all, put your all ingredients on your work surface. Then, cut the chicken breasts in half, then, cut each piece of the chicken breast horizontal into two halved again, flatten pieces of chicken breasts, so they are all about 0,65 cm (nearly 1/4 inch) thick. 
  2. Then, season pieces of chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Then, put all purpose white flour onto a large plate. Beat eggs with salt and ground black pepper in a shallow bowl. And have bread crumbs on a separate large plate. 
  3. Then, dredge each chicken piece in flour, then egg, and then use bread crumbs to pound the pieces of chicken breasts until they are a little less than 0,5 cm thick (nearly 1/4 inch) and set aside in 1 layer on a clean plate. Repeat with remaining pieces of chicken breasts.
  4. Then, heat oil in a large pan, and add into the Chicken schnitzels and fry both sides until golden color. 
  5. Now, your Chicken schnitzels are ready. Serve Golden Crispy Fried Chicken Breast-chicken schnitzels with rice dish or salad.

Oil Fried Chicken Schnitzel Recipe

         Preparation of Oven Baked Chicken Schnitzel: (in this recipe, we used store-bought chicken schnitze. But homemade one is always better)

  1. First of all, put your all ingredients on your kitchen table. Then, cut your chicken breasts in half, then, cut each piece of the chicken breast horizontal into two halved again, flatten pieces of chicken breasts, so they are all about 0,65 cm (nearly 1/4 inch) thick. 
  2. Then, season pieces of chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Then, put all purpose white flour onto a large plate. Beat eggs with salt and ground black pepper in a shallow bowl. And have bread crumbs on a separate large plate. 
  3. Then, dredge each chicken piece in flour, then egg, and then use bread crumbs to pound the pieces of chicken breasts until they are a little less than 0,5 cm thick (nearly 1/4 inch) and set aside in 1 layer on a clean plate. Repeat with remaining pieces of chicken breasts.
  4. Then, preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and drizzle vegetable oil (or olive oil) over foil. Then, place baking sheet in preheated oven. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 to 7 minutes, flip chicken breasts and continue baking until you get golden color for both sides, this baking process takes 5 to 7 minutes more.
  5. Now, your Chicken schnitzels are ready. Serve Golden Crispy Fried Chicken Breast-chicken schnitzels with rice dish or salad.
